Measuring and recognising members' continuing and postgraduate education through regularly reviewed points and awards systems.

• Providing accredited routes to Membership (MNZCP), Advanced Practitioner status and Fellowship (FNZCP)
• Providing an option for those who meet the clinical requirements at Membership level to add a clinical designation in brackets after the post-nominal MNZCP.
• Providing a formalised, peer reviewed route to clinical specialisation as part of the Fellowship programme.
• Accrediting high quality physiotherapy courses, workshops and conferences
• Producing educational resources
• Encouraging and supporting physiotherapy research
• Running workshops on non clinical topics
• Stimulating and co-ordinating debate on educational and clinical topics
• Co-ordinating lecture tours, conferences and other educational events
• Assisting members to plan their ongoing educational programmes
• Building links with educational organisations in New Zealand and overseas.
