Ann also grew up in rural New Zealand, in the small town of Otarahonga.
She studied at the School of Physiotherapy at Otago. Ann is currently the Professional Advisor of physiotherapy services at Rotorua Hospital. Her main area of interest is Woman’s Health and she is the chairperson of the Woman’s and Men’s Pelvic Health SIG. Ann is one of the founding members of founding members of Tae Ora Tinana, being part of the bicultural group that formed in 1997.
