Jess graduated from Otago University with a BPhty in 2003 and gathered experience working in a Traumatic Brain Injury service (Maori Health provider), Private Practice (locums) and in Whangarei Hospital (Orthopaedics, Outpatients, Medical and Surgical).
In 2006 she found her niche in Paediatrics at the Child Health Centre and have been there ever since. The Child Health Centre covers all of Northland including remote areas. Jess completed a Masters of Bioethics and Health Law (distinction) in 2011. She main interests are children, whanau and community and in how physiotherapy can be a useful part of health care and wellbeing discussions. Jess is also a member of the Professional Standards and National Executive.
