The kaitiaki encourage Māori members to get involved with events which encourage Māori to be active.
Support is available for PNZ members whether Māori or non-Māori to attend Hauora Māori hui and seminars etc about health promotion - and where possible, to present at the events. A report for Physio Matters is required after the event, so that all members may become better informed and more culturally competent.
